Improvement works are to be carried out on the A2 Ardglass to Strangford Road at Chapeltown in Northern Ireland.
The £343,000 scheme, which will include drainage and resurfacing works, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, 29 May.
A 2km section of the A2 Strangford Road, from its junction with Sheepland Road through Chapeltown, will be resurfaced. The work will bring significant improvements to the structural integrity and surface quality of the road.
A road closure will be announced in the coming days.
Work is expected to take eight weeks to complete.
