Remedial Work Complete To Unauthorised Landfill Site In Timoole

Remedial work has been completed to an unauthorised landfill site in Timoole, Meath.

Almost 70,000 tonnes of waste was removed to Knockharley landfill as part of the project. The void was then filled with clean soil and stone.

Meath County Council also announced that remedial work has been completed to local roads, which was not part of the original plans.

The project, completed ahead of time, has eliminated the environmental risk in the area.
