The Department of Education has identified a potential site for a proposed secondary school in Dublin Rathdown.
Minister Josepha Madigan, TD for Dublin Rathdown, said: "I am very pleased that the Department of Education has identified a suitable potential site for the Stepaside Educate Together Secondary School. I hope that this process can now progress rapidly and that the school's students can access top quality education at their own permanent location as soon as possible."
She continued: "Stepaside Educate Together Secondary school has been providing high quality education and choice of patronage for local families since 2016. The identification of a permanent home that the school can call its own will be greatly welcomed by students and staff."
Minister Madigan also ensured that she will work with Education Minister Richard Bruton to deliver necessary school facilities for the growing population of Dublin Rathdown.
