Sisk Continues Work On €233m Holiday Resort In Longford

Contractors John Sisk & Son are continuing work to build Ireland's first Center Parcs forest resort in Longford.

A total of 700 workers are now on site according to Center Parcs Chief Executive Officer, Martin Dalby.

Images released online show an aerial view of the €233 million site in its current state.

Once finished, the resort will house 466 lodges and 30 apartments. The popular water park Subtropical Swimming Paradise, restaurants, bars and shops will also be available on site. Overall, the project has created 750 construction jobs.

The scheme is scheduled to open in 2019.
