Proposed Omagh Enterprise Hub Could Create 180 Jobs

Talks have been held to discuss a proposed new Enterprise Hub development in Omagh which could create 180 jobs.

West Tyrone MP Órfhlaith Begley and her party colleague Catherine Kelly MLA visited the former Health Centre site to discuss plans with the CEO of Omagh Enterprise, Nick O'Sheil.

Ms Begley said: "Omagh Enterprise is seeking to transform this site into an Enterprise Hub. This development would lead to much needed job creation and be a major economic boost for the town.

"It will also support the regeneration of Omagh town centre which is set to undergo significant change in the coming years."

Omagh Enterprise has raised its own capital but additional funding is required to complete the project.

She added: "I will now meet with Department officials to directly make the case for public funding of this project."
