Coffey Northumbrian is continuing work on a water mains installation in Kilmacow, Co Kilkenny.
Works involves the replacement of 2.9km of old, leaking mains with modern HDPE pipes. It will be carried out on a 2.2km stretch between Ballykeoghan and Lacey's Cross in Dangan and along a 700m stretch in Arderra.
The work is expected to extend, with Dangan & Lacey's Cross expected to reopen on 14 September.
The project is part of Irish Water's National Leakage Reduction Programme which will reduce the high level of leakage across the country by fixing or replacing ageing water mains over the next four years.
