Woodvale Construction has secured a contract to complete work on six schools left unfinished following the collapse of Carillion.
Schools in Carlow, Meath, Wexford and Wicklow were left unfinished in January after the collapse of the UK company.
Woodvale will take over the work with plans to complete Loreto College, Co Wexford, and Coláiste Ráithín and Ravenswell Primary School in Bray, Co Wicklow, by the end of August.
The remaining three schools, Tyndall College and Carlow Institute of Further Education in Carlow, and Eureka Secondary School, Kells, Co Meath, are expected to be completed by December. Woodvale will survey and do preliminary work on the school developments.
Sammon Group had been subcontracted by Carillion to build the new schools prior to the collapse.
