Dawson Wam is continuing work on a flood alleviation scheme for the Upper Newtownards Road/Knock Road area of East Belfast.
With all sewer laying work now completed, the final section of road resurfacing is set to take place on the Upper Newtownards Road, between Pasadena Gardens and Knockhill Park
Work is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 28 July with completion set for 29 July. Traffic management and diversions will be in place.
NI Water stated: "This infrastructure project involved the upgrade of existing and installation of new sewers and was undertaken to resolve historical internal and external flooding issues.
"The completion of this project will increase the capacity of the existing sewerage system, as well as reducing the risk of ‘out of sewer’ flooding and environmental pollution in the area.
"NI Water and our contractor Dawson Wam would like to thank the public for their continued patience and cooperation throughout this major Flood Alleviation Scheme."
