Work To Start On £180,000 Stranmillis Road Resurfacing

Up to £180,000 is being invested to resurface a section of the Stranmillis Road in Belfast.

Work will begin on the road from its junction with Malone Road to the junction with Richmond Park on Wednesday, 01 August.

The 10-day scheme will involve road closures between 9.30am – 4.30pm each day and signed diversions will be in place along with traffic restrictions.

The Department for Infrastructure said while it has carefully planned these road works and associated traffic management arrangements over the summer months when traffic flows are generally expected to be much lower, motorists should expect some delay and allow additional time when planning their journey.
