£240,000 Newtownabbey Road Upgrade To Begin

Work is to begin on a £240,000 road improvement scheme in Newtownabbey.

Around 1.2km of the Doagh Road between Houston's Corner Roundabout and Carntall Road will undergo resurfacing from Monday, 10 September. Completion is scheduled for mid-October.

To facilitate the work, a full road closure will be in operation continuously from 7am on 10 September until 7pm on 14 September. A further road closure will be required continuously from 7am on 26 September until 7pm on 28 September. Traffic management, diversions and lane closures will be in place.
