Essential work is to begin to improve the sewer network in Benone.
The £2 million NI Water project involves the replacement of a large part of the existing vacuum system serving local caravan parks and amenities with conventional wastewater pumping stations and sewers.
Work will be carried out out from November over two autumn/winter periods.
The scheme will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the network and deliver environmental benefits in the Benone area.
NI Water Senior Project Manager, Peter Ferguson, recently welcomed local MLAs Caiomhe Archibald, John Dallat and George Robinson to a presentation outlining plans for the scheme.
