Road Crossing Works To Take Place On Co Kildare Carriageway

Road crossing works are to take place on the M7 Westbound carriageway in Co Kildare this week.

The work will take place between Junction 10 and 11 as part of the M7 Upgrade project.

From Monday 01 October 2018 to Friday 05 October 2018, night time off peak lane closures will take place between 10pm and 6am. During these times a minimum of one lane will be available in both directions.

From 03-04 October, the Westbound traffic will be diverted from the M7 at Junction 10, via the off-slip and rejoining at the on-slip. A fully signed diversion route will be in place to direct traffic.

On Friday 05 October, the Westbound on-slip at Junction 10 will be closed, with traffic diverted, via the M7 Eastbound, to Junction 9, then back along the M7 Westbound.

This traffic management is necessary in order to safely carry out the road crossings at these locations.
