Advanced Engineering Firm Opens New Manufacturing Facility

An advanced engineering firm in Downpatrick, Co Down, has opened its new manufacturing facility at Invest Northern Ireland's Killough Road Industrial Estate.

CM Precision Components invested almost £1million in the construction project to expand its production capabilities.

The company produces precision machined components for the automotive, materials handling and aerospace sectors.

Kieran Cooper, Managing Director of CM Precision said: "This is a milestone achievement for us and we are tremendously proud of our new premises. We aim to build on the momentum gained in our target markets in recent years and are committed to building on the existing strengths of the business to expand our customer base and achieve further success in export markets."

Invest NI offered CM Precision over £240,000 of property assistance towards the construction of its new factory.
