Work To Repair Burst Trunk Main Complete

Work to repair a burst trunk main in the South Inishowen area of Donegal has been completed.

Irish Water worked in partnership with Donegal County Council to carry out the work and the water has now been restored.

Peter Gallagher, Irish Water's Asset Operations Lead for Donegal said: "Crews have been on the ground since early this morning and the network is now operating again. It may take longer for water to reach customers in higher areas.

"We apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused by this unplanned outage and thank them for their patience."
