A contract has been signed to renovate the Dining Hall and Cookhouse at the Barracks.
The work will see significant alterations to the internal layout of the kitchen and storage areas. On completion, the building's external appearance will be rejuvenated and will also be future proofed from an energy saving perspective.

The Minister with Responsibility for Defence, Paul Kehoe, who signed the deal, said: "The refurbishment and upgrading of the facility is being undertaken as part of the Defence Forces Built Infrastructure programme. The programme is designed to modernise and enhance the training, operational and accommodation facilities available to members of the Defence Forces and is rolled out annually based on military needs and priorities."
