A number of public consultation events are to be held, showcasing the latest concept designs for the Dromore Public Realm Scheme.
The scheme aims to enhance the streetscape and offer quality design, utilising natural materials with bespoke details to reflect the town's unique history and conservation area designation. It also plans to introduce new pavement treatments, lighting, enhanced shared space, street furniture, signage and decorative features designed to complement the previous works at Dromore Town Hall in the central area of Market Square.
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council will be delivering the next stage of the project, providing high quality improvements within the Town Centre Conservation Area which includes outer Market Square, Bridge Street and Church Street.
The public events will be held in a number of locations in Dromore, seeking the views and opinions from local traders, residents, community groups, members of the public and interested parties on the proposals.
Any information gathered during the consultation period will be used to help produce the final design.
