Doosan has officially released its new digger, the DX140LCR-5, in Ireland.

Main dealer Adare Machinery will distribute the product across the country.

The DX140LCR-5 is powered by the Perkins 1204F engine, which combines reduced fuel consumption with the power and torque of larger engines with a smaller displacement. The new Perkins 1204F engine provides a 6% increase in power and a 3% increase in torque. Swing torque has also been boosted by 28%.

In addition to the Stage IV engine, new systems and functions have been incorporated to reduce fuel consumption significantly − by up to 10% compared to the previous generation machine.

The DX140LCR-5 cab has also been further refined for outstanding operator comfort and ease of operation.

In a statement, Adare said: "Congratulations to Francis on your new machine and on behalf of everyone at Adare Machinery we wish you the best of luck with your new Doosan and happy digging!"

Based out of its premises in Limerick, Adare Machinery offers sales, parts and service across the entire Doosan heavy range.
