Fusion21 Selects CTS Projects For £290m Framework

Construction News Image
Warrenpoint-based facilities management company CTS Projects has been selected to join a £290 million Fusion21 framework.

The firm has been appointed as one of the 37 members to Fusion21's Repairs & Maintenance and Empty Buildings Frameworks.

The procurement frameworks are designed to support housing associations, local authorities and the wider public sector across the UK and Northern Ireland, with a range of reactive works and services – from out-of-hours reactive emergency repairs, and major void improvements to call handling services on a 24/7or out-of-hours basis.

Connaire McGreevy, Managing Director and founder of CTS Projects said: "It was an extremely rigorous procedure but we are delighted to have been selected by Fusion21, for local delivery in Northern Ireland – and pleased to be one of only 37 highly skilled firms appointed.

"Our public sector clients often request additional work to be carried out and these frameworks give them and other NI public sector bodies, a fast and compliant method of getting us to site, to deliver improvement and maintenance works."

Peter Francis, Director of Operations at Fusion21 added: "Having listened to the views and experiences of our members, these national frameworks bring a modern, dynamic solution for procuring responsive repairs and void arrangements and can integrate both planned work and responsive programmes into one package when required.

"We're delighted to have appointed a variety of firms to the frameworks - including CTS Projects Ltd – following a rigorous selection process."

Fusion21 frameworks are run by technical specialists and only feature pre-qualified, accredited suppliers. They allow OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) compliant contracts to be entered into by any of Northern Ireland's public sector bodies via a direct award or a mini-tender competition. Fusion21 can either be involved in the full process, or allow CTS Projects and the public sector body to engage directly.
