Meridian Utilities To Upgrade Lurgan Water Supply

Meridian Utilities is to carry out upgrades to the water supply in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

The £2.4 million investment involves improving 19km of water mains throughout the area.

It will reduce leakage and improve water pressure.

For the first six months of the programme the project will focus on the Silverwood Estate.

The overall schedule of work is expected to run until March 2020.

The upgrades are being delivered on behalf of NI Water.
