Improvement Works To Take Place On Tipperary Road

Road improvement works are to begin on Davitt Street in Tipperary town, starting early next year.

The works will involve just 1km of construction on the road, including new road surfacing, new footpaths and new road lining, signage and minor landscaping.

Renewed paving, footpaths and steps surrounding the Church Well, Emmet St, will also be constructed along with traffic calming, designated parking and additional surface water drainage.

The work will be carried out in sections to minimise disruption to parking.

The project will commence in January 2019 and continue for up to eight months.
