Refurbishments To Commence At Ashbourne's Linear Park

Major refurbishments are scheduled to get underway in Ashbourne Linear Park, Co Meath, early next year.

McAvoy Contracts will deliver the project after signing contracts with Meath County Council officials and the Cathaoirleach of Ashbourne Municipal District.

The work will be carried out on Zone 4 of the park, commencing in January 2019.

Works will include:

• Installation of play area for older children

• Construction of an amphitheatre and wall

• Installation of a toddler play area

• Construction of new footpaths throughout the area

• Re-installation of the pedestrian footbridge linking park to Ashbourne Town Centre

• Landscaping throughout the area.
