The Department for Infrastructure has launched a public consultation on the draft timetable for the Northern Ireland Flood Risk Management Plan (2021 – 2027).
The timetable and work programme outlines a preparation plan for the scheme, which aims to mitigate the impact of flooding across NI.
As well as outlining the proposed work programme, the timetable also details the key deliverables and their deadlines and provides a statement on the consultation measures to be taken with stakeholders and members of the public.
DfI will move forward with the plan once public consultation ends, taking into account any issues raised.
The public consultation is open now until 28 June 2019.
It can be accessed here.
