Fingal County Council is progressing work on several projects under the Local Infrastructure Housing Activation Fund (LIHAF) scheme.
Plans to open up a landbank to the west of Swords are expected to move forward in early 2019. The area is to make room for 3,400 new homes and a new secondary school, which is set to open there next September.
Road infrastructure work at Oldtown-Mooretown, just off the Rathbeale Road, is also expected to progress shortly.
Work is continuing to progress the Stapolin lands in Baldoyle, while progress has also been made on the Compulsory Purchase of lands at the Hole in the Wall Road.
The first project funded under the LIHAF scheme, the Donabate Distributor Road, remains on target to be completed in 2019.
Director of Planning and Strategic Infrastructure, AnnMarie Farrelly added: "The completion of the Donabate Distributor Road is very much on target to be completed by next summer. I was delighted to see the new bridge going as it is real evidence of the function of the road as the new way into Donabate.
"The Donabate Distributor Road is really important as it delivers alternative access into Donabate as well as opening up lands for the delivery of housing over the next decade or so."
