Sinn Féin has called for an update on the potential development of a new build for Holywell Hospital in Antrim.
This follows a visit to the site last May, in which the Department of Finance confirmed a new build was still being appraised.
The party's mental health spokesperson Órlaithí Flynn has written to the Department calling for an update on the business case.
Holywell in Causeway Hospital currently provides inpatient mental health beds for the Northern Trust area. The Business Case proposes a new unit providing over 130 inpatient beds covering PICU, dementia and addiction services.
