Proposal For Renovation Of Kilkenny Town Hall On Display

Public consultation has begun on plans to renovate the Town hall (Tholsel) Building on Kilkenny's High Street.

The proposal is now on public display, with open days being held at the building on Saturday 26 January (2-4pm) and Wednesday 30 January (7-9pm).

The plans can also be inspected until Friday 15 February at the following locations:

• Planning Dept., Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John St., Kilkenny City from 9am to 1pm & 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday.

• Kilkenny City Engineering Office, Kilkenny County Council, Town Hall, High Street, Kilkenny from 9am to 1pm & 2pm to 5pm Monday to Friday.

• Carnegie Library, Johns Quay, Kilkenny from 10am to 8pm Tuesdays, 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday, and 10am to 1:30pm Saturdays (except Bank Holiday weekends).

Submissions or observations regarding the proposal can be made online at consult.kilkenny.ie.

The deadline for submissions is 5.00pm on Friday 01 March.
