Irish Water Investigates Outage In Co Longford

Irish Water has completed repair work on the water supply in Granard, Co Longford.

This follows an unplanned outage in the area, affecting Cara, Springtown Bunlahy and Granardkill.

It may take a number of hours for the water supply to return to normal.

Customers on higher ground or at the extremities of the network may experience a longer disruption while the network recharges and pressures resume to their normal levels.

Alternative water supplies are available at Granardkill cemetery and at Granard Garda Station for the duration of this water disruption.
