Resurfacing Scheme Announced In Lisburn

The Department for Infrastructure is to launch a resurfacing scheme on the Knockmore Road / Ballinderry Road Junction in Lisburn later this week.

Work will begin on Thursday 31 January to widen Knockmore Road, realign Ballinderry Road East and introduce traffic signals to control all traffic movements through the junction, including a number of pedestrian and cycle crossings.

Off peak road and lane closures will be in operation at times throughout the work.

The scheme is expected to be substantially completed by July 2019.
