Shareridge has commenced water main rehabilitation works in Kells and Dunboyne, Co Meath.
This works forms part of a county-wide scheme to replace 25km of ageing water mains with heavy plastic and ductile iron pipes.
Customers on Gardenrath Road Lower, Termon Hall, and Hermitage Glen in Kells will be impacted by disruption to supply to facilitate the new water main installation from Monday 28 January until Friday 01 February between the hours of 10am and 4pm daily.
Those in St Patricks Park and Boyne Court in Dunboyne will be impacted by disruption to supply from Tuesday 29 January until Friday 01 February.
William McKnight, Irish Water, said: "This project will provide a more reliable water supply by strengthening and reinforcing the networks in these supply areas, reducing disruptions in supply improving water quality and reducing leakage. Upon completion, there will be significant improvements in network performance and levels of customer service in terms of efficiency and security of supply."
