A section of ageing water mains is to be replaced on Davitt's Quay in County Waterford.
Approximately 300 metres of mains will decommissioned and replaced with plastic pipes.
The works will also involve laying new water service connections from the public water main in the road to customers' property boundaries and connecting it to the customers' water supply.
Coffey Northumbrian is carrying out the works under Irish Water's national Leakage Reduction Programme.
The work is expected to be complete in April 2019.
