Work has commenced on a £161,000 road improvement scheme in County Armagh.
The project for the Legacorry Road in Richhill, which got underway today, 27 February, aims to improve safety for drivers and enhance the road network by increasing forward visibility and horizontal alignment as well as providing localised road widening.
Demolition work to remove existing agricultural buildings has already been carried out.
Roadworks are expected to be completed by the end of April 2019.
In order to facilitate the project, traffic control will be in place from Wednesday 27 February to Monday 11 March. A full road closure of the Legacorry road will then be necessary until Friday 26 April. During this time traffic will be diverted via the A3 Armagh Road and the Corcreevey Road.
