Antrim-based roofing company Thornton has supported a £5 million supermarket upgrade in Belfast.
A series of works were completed at Asia Supermarket on a four-acre site bound by Ormeau Embankment, St Kilda Street and Ravenhill Reach.
They involved the construction of a new storage and distribution centre with associated retail unit, customer café and car parking.
The specialist roofing and cladding firm provided approved installers with fully trained operatives. Kingspan's KS1000 Trapezoidal roof panels were utilised on the project due to their durability, easy maintenance and high safety standards. The company's KS1000MR wall panels were also deployed for their IR insulation filler and internal liner.
Uel Clyde, Contracts Manager at Thornton, commented: "Thornton is incredibly proud to have been involved with this project, which represents a major investment in the local economy. Our highly trained operatives delivered exceptional results through hard work, commitment and attention to detail - qualities we pride ourselves on at Thornton roofing."
Construction began at Belfast's Asia Supermarket in January 2017, with work completed in July 2018.
