Co Cork College Secures Grant For Football Pitch Upgrade

A County Cork college has secured government funding to help deliver upgrades to its football pitch.

The grant of up to €8,750 was approved for Coláiste Ghobnatan in Ballymakeery.

This will allow work to commence on the pitch's drainage system.

The approval of this grant conforms with the commitments made in relation to the Community and Language Support Programme under Actions 2.13 , 2.21 and 2.22 of the Government's Action Plan 2018-2022 for the Irish language which was launched in June 2018.
