Water Supply Improvements Progress In Co Antrim

NI Water and contractor Farrans are progressing work on a series of water mains improvements in the Ballyclare area of Co Antrim.

This project will help improve the local water supply and reduce leakage.

Work will commence on the Rashee Road from Readers Park entrance to Charles Drive on the 25 March for approximately six weeks.

The project will then restart on 24 June until mid-August to complete the remaining water mains improvement work between Hillmount Avenue and Ballyeaston Road junctions.

A lane closure will be in operation throughout to facilitate the work.

An information evening will be held in Ballyclare Town Hall on Thursday 04 April, 5pm to 7pm, to discuss the works and upcoming schemes including Ballyeaston Road, Victoria Road, Hillmount Avenue, Erskine Park, Margaret Avenue, Charles Drive and Rathmena Estate.
