Coleraine Car Park To Close For Public Safety

A car park at Ballinrees Reservoir in Coleraine, Co L'Derry, is set to close amid public safety concerns.

The facility on Windyhill Road will close due to inadequate sightlines coming out onto the road.

NI Water described the closure as "unavoidable" after investigating options to improve the sight lines. They will remain in open communication with representatives to try to reach a suitable alternative conclusion.

The utility has also admitted it may consider reviewing the closure if the situation changes.
