Major Water Leak Causes Disruption In Galway

An Irish Water team has been deployed to repair a major water leak in Galway city.

The leak was reported on the Headford Road on Sunday 14 April, causing disruption to the local water network.

Repairs were carried out on the network yesterday, 15 April, with a traffic management in place all day to accommodate the works.

Customers may experience water outages or lower than normal pressure levels in this area for a while after the works while water returns to the network.
