A team of Irish Water engineers has successfully repaired a faulty main in the Dooradoyle area of Limerick.
The 12-inch main on St Nessan's Road burst yesterday, Sunday 19 May, causing disruption to the supply for local homes and businesses.
Water supply was later maintained to the nearby University Hospital Limerick.
The emergency works were completed, restoring normal supply to the locals.
Motorists experienced traffic delays in the area during the works, which were delivered in conjunction with Limerick City and County Council.
