Down Road Closes For Resurfacing

Resurfacing work has commenced on the B7 Vale Road in Ballynahinch, Co Down.

The £163,000 project will see a 1km stretch improved from the Vale Road/Ballynahinch Road junction to immediately beyond the Vale Road/Cahard Road junction.

A daily weekday road closure has also been implemented to facilitate the works between 8am and 6pm from Monday 03 June to Friday 05 July.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signed and local access for residents will be maintained at all times during the works.

Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when planning any journeys.

The scheme is expected to be complete by 05 July.
