County Down Route To Close For Resurfacing

The Comber Road and Comber Road roundabout in Newtownards are set to close for resurfacing work this weekend.

A 240-metre section of the road will be improved, taking in the roundabout.

This £250,000 scheme will see the road and roundabout closed to traffic overnight from Sunday 23 June 2019 to Friday 28 June between the hours of 7pm and 6am.

A signed diversion will be in place via the A21 Comber Road, A22 Belfast Road, Comber, A22 Comber Road, Dundonald, A20 Upper Newtownards Road/Kempestones Road and Newtownards Town Centre.

The project is expected to be complete by 28 June, subject to favourable weather conditions.
