The number of people officially classed as homeless in Ireland has fallen over the month of May.
Figures for May show 10,253 people living in emergency accommodation, a 1.2% drop compared to April's statistics.
Of the 10,253 people classed as homeless, 3,749 of these were children.
Despite the nationwide decrease, Sinn Féin's Eoin Ó Broin TD has warned the government not to "get carried away" with the figures.
He said: "While small decrease in the number of homeless children and homeless adults is welcome, unfortunately it is of cold comfort to the families facing into school holidays in emergency accommodation."
