Work Progresses On €35m Dublin Water Main

Work is moving forward on a €35 million strategic water main between Leixlip and Saggart in South Dublin.

Irish Water and South Dublin County Council will now carry out work on a trunk water main in Rathcoole Park over the weekend as part of the project.

A warning has been issued to customers in the area regarding a potential disruption to the water supply from 9am on Thursday 04 July until 5pm on Sunday 07 July.

Customers in the following areas may experience lower water pressure for the duration of the works: Aerodrome; Greenogue; Newcastle; Ballynakelly; Newcastle Village; Peamount Road; Baldonnel Business Park; Milltown; Baldonnel; Kingswood Business Park; Citywest Business Park; Brownsbarn; Kingswood Heights; Embankment Road; Rossfield; Jobstown Park and surrounding areas.

Irish Water has urged locals to conserve water throughout the weekend works.
