An Irish Water team has been deployed to County Meath after a main burst in the Curragha-Ratoath area.
The areas impacted by the incident include Ratoath; Ashbourne Road; Fairyhouse Road; Kilbride Road; Dunshaughlin Road; and Kilbride.
Homes and businesses in the area may be impacted by water outages while the repairs are carried out.
Crews are working to carry out the repair, which is expected to be complete by 8pm this evening, 18 July.
Once the water main has been repaired it may take a number of hours for the water supply to return in full to all impacted properties.
A traffic management system will also be in place for the duration of the works.
