Road Closure Agreed For Kilkenny City Works

A road closure is set to be implemented in the south west of Kilkenny City to facilitate a major infrastructure scheme.

The first phase of the Kilkenny Western Environs Phase 1 Infrastructure will see contractor SIAC deliver a new distributor road from the N76 Callan Road to the Circular Road at Robertshill.

SIAC is moving forward with the project, with service installation works expected to get underway shortly. A section of Circular Road from Kilmanagh Road to the Robertshill traffic lights will be closed from 22 July until November 2019 to allow these works to take place.

Local access will be available to Circular Road/Robertshill from College Road Roundabout.
