Atalian Servest Announces Key UK & Ireland Appointment

Facilities management firm Atalian Servest has strengthened its UK & Ireland team with a new senior appointment.

Alistair McCourt has joined the company as Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Director UK & Ireland.

He brings almost 30 years experience within the health and safety arena to the position. Alistair also boasts a wealth of QHSE expertise and experience from previous roles with Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service, CHG Safety and most recently QHSE Director for Atalian Servest's M&E Projects division.

In this new role, Alistair will direct Atalian Servest on all matters relating to quality, health and safety, environmental safety, food hygiene and fire safety, advising the board of directors in the pursuit of continuously adopting more effective processes. Daniel Dickson, Atalian Servest CEO UK and Ireland, said: "We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all staff, suppliers, clients and visitors. To achieve this, it's fundamental that we embed a culture of health and safety understanding among our staff, rather than just implement processes. Alistair's extensive experience will be fundamental in achieving this, and I am delighted to welcome him to the team."

Alistair McCourt added: "Due to the complex nature of Facilities Management, maintaining a proactive approach to identifying potential risks is a priority at Atalian Servest. I am proud to have been appointed in a role that's so instrumental to business safety and security. My background within hard services is advantageous and means I have a solid foundation and springboard to continuously review and adopt new processes to improve the safety provision of Atalian Servest."
