An Irish Water team has successfully repaired a burst water main in Dublin city.
Located in Drumcondra, the 600mm main affected the water supply in Dublin's Northside, including the North Inner City, Drumcondra, Artane, Fairview, Clontarf, Raheny, Whitehall, Santry and Cabra.
The work began on the repairs at 7.30am on Sunday, 21 July, and were completed by 8.30pm that evening. Full water service was restored to all affected customers overnight, as water refilled the pipe network.
Irish Water has warned some properties may experience air locks after a disruption to water supply.
