Plans have been proposed to build a £10 million aquarium in Belfast's Titanic Quarter.
UK company ReefLIVE has submitted the plans to Belfast City Council, which will see the attraction built on the Queen's Road, close to the world-famous Titanic Belfast.
If approved, the project will create around 40 new jobs and around 60 extra posts during the construction phase. It is also expected to boost annual visitors to Northern Ireland by 300,000.
This attraction would become NI's second aquarium, behind Exploris Aquarium in Portaferry, and the first of its kind in Belfast.
The scheme will be designed by Ethos Architects, with planning consultants Turley also involved.
Subject to planning approval, the aquarium will open in 2021.
