A project team comprising of Clúid Housing, Thermohouse Limited, Kerry County Council and Rebuilding Ireland is delivering the turnkey, energy effect homes in Derreen.
The development consists 61 two and three-bed dwellings, built using Thermohouse's unique low energy building system. As well as being up to 60% faster than traditional construction, the houses have superior levels of airtightness, considerably reducing their heating costs.
Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy visited the site earlier this week to mark the progress on the project.

The Sruthan na Saili development is due for completion in early 2020.
