Property Industry Ireland Director Joins Housing Agency Board

Property Industry Ireland (PII) Director, David Duffy has been appointed to the Board of the Housing Agency.

The Housing Agency is a non-commercial state body established to support Local Authorities; Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) and the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government in the delivery of housing and housing services.

Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy announced the key appointment, which will see David utilise his expertise to ensure the Agency carry out all functions effectively and comply with statutory requirements. This will bring the number of Board members to nine.

Dr Duffy boasts over 25 years of professional experience working in research and consultancy, holding important roles at the Economic and Social Research Institute, the Chamber of Commerce of Ireland, Fitzpatrick Associates and Hillier Parker Property Consultants.

He is being appointed for the period 01 July 2019 to 30 June 2024.
