Road works have commenced in Ballymena today, 29 July.
The £368,000 scheme will see improvements delivered along the B62 Ballymena Road and Cullybackey Road. They will be carried out on a 2km section from the railway level crossing at Cullybackey towards Ballymena.
The project team will deliver the first three weeks of the scheme using lane restrictions. Full road closures will then be put in place for the remainder of the work.
Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
Work is expected to be completed by 06 September.
