The small village of Clough in County Antrim has been upgraded with a new sports facility.
A new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) pitch was opened across from the children's play area in the village, as part of a £1.27 million investment in the borough.
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is currently rejuvenating 17 villages across the region under the Village Renewal Programme with funding from DAERA and support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Clough's new MUGA pitch features rubber surfacing to facilitate a number of sports and is enclosed with steel fencing. Football nets are also being provided along with line markings.
The new development is expected to encourage people to get outdoors and reap the benefits of sport.
