Resurfacing Work To Take Place In Gilford

Road works are set to take place on Mill Street / Dunbarton Street in Gilford, County Down.

The £115,000 resurfacing scheme be carried out from Sunday 11 August until Friday 16.

This will be delivered over a 0.4km section from the Presbyterian Church on Dunbarton Street to the mini roundabout at the end of Mill Street.

A road closure will be in operation on Sunday 11 August between 7am and 6pm. Overnight road closures will also be in operation from Monday 12 August 2019 to Friday 16 August 2019, between 7pm and 6am. Traffic will be diverted through Tandragee, via High Street, Gilford, Lurgan Road, Moyallen Road, Mullahead Road, Portadown Road, Madden Road and Tandragee Road.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signed and local access for residents and businesses will be maintained at all times during the works.

The Department for Infrastructure is urging drivers to leave additional time when travelling in the area.
